Another amazing Downieville Summer is coming to a close and the Fall and Winter seasons are just around the corner. While many visit this small town strictly in the Summer, we are urging folks to step outside of their comfort zone and consider Downieville as an all season destination. There is hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, camping, snow machining, skiing, snowshoeing, and many more activities that can be trips of a lifetime if you let them- something accessible all year round.

This year, we want to invite guests who might not have been able to book the dates this summer due to large events reserving the property, or folks who don't have time off during those months, or anyone in need of a relaxing getaway to choose Downieville as the place to go. To promote this travel, we are offering special deals each month that either lower our rates, lower the length of stay requirements, lower fees, or offer free nights to stays that typically wouldn't be eligible.

While we always offer a discount to first responders, the month of November will entirely be focused on providing respite to those who constantly risk themselves for the sake of others. We have had brutal fire seasons with devastating losses but it all could have been worse if we did not have the aid of these people who keep flames at bay and away from as many lives as possible. We have had staff, guests, and family treated with gentle kindness when in need of medical attention, and we want to everyone to know that these things deserve support and acknowledgment.
